The mission of the Culture Collaboratory is four-fold: 1) we aim to conduct high quality research on education and health discrepencies for underrepresented minorities and for individuals from low-income families; 2) we are committed to contributing to the development of theories about self, racial-ethnic identity, and culture; 3) we are dedicated to providing research experiences that provide the greatest possible opportunities for success at the next stage of student's lives (i.e., graduate school, faculty positions, or non-academic employment); and 4) we are committed to collaborative learning environments that embrace the ideals of community, diversity, and academic excellence. We strive to learn from one another and to achieve our highest potential together.
